CoD Approves Association Reorganization

It's official. The AESF Council of Delegates (CoD) voted to approve the reorganization of the AESF, NAMF, and MFSA under the new National Association for Surface Finishers (NASF) by a 73 percent majority (123-45). The vote, which took place during a special session at SUR/FIN on Thursday, Sept. 21, exceeded the two-thirds requirement for a bylaw change. Following the vote, Joelie Zak (Scientific Control Labs), CEF-4, was elected to serve as the new AESF president. In addition, Peter Gallerani (Integrated Technologies), MSF and AESF fellow, was elected to serve as the new AESF vice president. Meanwhile, Stephen Candiloro, Ira Donavan, Mike Faulman, Pat Gleason, and Jerry Phillips were voted to seats on the board of directors.
