Aluminium scrap prices rose for some secondary grades last week as merchants sought to capitalise on the strength of the ingot market. Commercial cast rose to £1,080-1,120 ($1,737-1,801) per tonne from £1,050-1,100 per tonne previously; cast wheels increased to £1,400-1,450 per tonne from £1,340-1,380 per tonne; and commercial turnings rose to £810-865 per tonne from £800-850 pertonne previously. This comes after commercial pure and HE9 extrusions prices rose last week.
