Real time technology and automated testing systems

The product offer of Lenzing Instruments GmbH & Co. KG, Gampern/Austria, includes real time online technology as well as automated testing systems for applications directly in the production and in the laboratory. The following new developments will be presented-Fray View offers detailed image analysis of broken filaments on the running yarn. The system combines the advantages of the Prompt FFD sensor with a high resolution area camera. Each time a broken filament is detected by the sensor, the camera is triggered to capture an image, which is displayed in real time by means of the especially developed software. Additionally, the software offers both numerical and graphical results evaluation for further analysis.
