Knitted gradient compression hosiery that is said to be comfortable and easy to don while providing therapeutic and aesthetic benefits is described in US Patent 7 895 863 by Knit-Rite.The compression hosiery (100) features a continuous stocking section (102) that includes a tubular foot portion (118) extending from the distal end (NO) and a tubular leg portion (122,124) extending from the open proximal end (108),with the foot portion dimensioned to receive the foot of the wearer and the leg portion dimensioned to receive at least part of the leg of the wearer when the hosiery is donned.
