UK patent for new technology in pressure-relieving cushions

Airospring Medical has been awarded a patent for new technology in its range of pressure-relieving devices following six years of academic research at the UK's University of Bolton. According to the company of Ilkeston, Derbyshire, UK, the lightweight and breathable pressure-relief cushions (45 cm × 45 cm) are made from three-dimensional (3D) knitted spacer fabrics.
