Meltblown line for production of filter material for respirators

Reifenhaeuser Reicofil is to supply a meltblown line for the production of high-efficiency filter material for disposable N95 and N99 respirators to Berry Group. The line is scheduled to be delivered and installed at a French plant of the USA-based nonwovens producer in June 2020. The plant and machine manufacturer, headquartered in Troisdorf, Germany, has been able to reduce the delivery time of the line by one-third to 14 weeks in response to urgent global demand for face masks and other healthcare materials driven by the human coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
