Extia Protect range of face-mask materials launched

Fibre-based materials supplier Ahlstrom-Munksjo has launched the Extia Protect range of fibre-based products for face masks, including filtration layers, coverstock, lace media and reinforcement layers. According to the company, based in Helsinki, Finland, each product in the range has been designed to meet specific requirements of different types of face mask, such as respiratory masks, surgical masks and general-purpose masks.
