ConAgra Foods Inc. posted net income of $244,800,000 in the second quarter ended Nov. 25, equal to 50 cents per share on the common stock, up 15 percent from $213,300,000, or 42 cents per share, during the same period of the previous year. Sales for the quarter were $3,511,000,000, up 14 percent from $3,088,700,000 during the same quarter of the previous year.
