Klein promoted to president, CEO of National Beef

Officials with Kansas City, Mo.-based National Beef Packing Company LLC, a subsidiary of U.S. Premium Beef, announced the appointment of Tim Klein as its president and CEO, replacing John Miller, who served as CEO of National Beef since 1992. Miller will continue serving on the company's board of managers and will also work as a consultant with the firm. Klein, who was also appointed to the board, served as president and COO of National Beef since 1997.
