Marel's range of Multihead Weighers calculate the best possible combination of weights in their holding hoppers and put together batches of an exact predetermined target weight. Available in five models, the MHWs for fresh poultry can handle a large variety of products from bone-in whole legs to nuggets or strips - also marinated items. The most common retail packs are weights of 12oz to 2lbs containing fresh poultry products, such as fillets, thighs, drumsticks, wings, strips or nuggets.The three MHW Fresh Poultry models allow processors to weigh and batch fresh products perfectly and to put together the correct sized bags. With either 14 or 20 weighing hoppers, these MHWs can handle throughputs of up to 26,455lbs/ hour.
