Positioning, machining allowances, and monitoring the shape of blanks

A functional approach is used as basis for formulating the general principles of the optimal distribution of the real machining allowance, monitoring the shape of blanks, and positioning them for machining. Practical recommendation are developed for implementing this concept using the results of coordinate Measurements.
