摘要

Microstructures of Al-Pd-Mn quasicrystalline specimens deformed at low temperatures were studied by transmission electron microscopy. Analysis of the corresponding microstructures indicates that plastic deformation takes place by dislocation glide and climb. Faulted dislocation loops were observed. Tentative explanations are given to explain nucleation and growth of these dislocation loops.
