摘要

A nanocrystalline Cu_30Al_70 alloy with average grain size of about 12 nm was produced by mechanically milling the vacuum induction melted Ci_30Al_70 alloy. The weight ratios of ball to sample and the milling time have a significant effect on the grain size of the Cu_30Al_70 alloy. The catalytic activity of the ball milled Cu_30Al_70 alloy is much higher than that of both the vacuum induction melted Cu_30Al_70 alloy and the rapidly quenched Ci_30Al_70 alloy in hydrogenation of xylose. The catalytic activity of the rapidly quenched Cu_30Al_70 alloy is also higher than that of the vacuum induction melted Cu_30Al_70 alloy.
