摘要

UV dye p-terphenyl (PTP)-doped silica films and slab were prepared by the sol-gel process with dioxane as the common solvent. The maximum PTP concentrations doped in the visibly transparent silica film and slab are 1.26×10~2 and 3.15×10~3 M, respectively. Concentration quenching was not observed in the emission spectra, and the emission peaks centered at ? 353 and ?370 nm for the film show red shift of 14 and 31 nm, respectively, compared with that of the cyclohexane solution of PTP.
