摘要

The room temperature direct current (DC) resistivity of Ni_(1-x)Zn_xFe_2O_4 (x = 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5) prepared by the non-conventional flash combustion and citrate-gel decomposition techniques have been studied. The high resistivity (ρ_(dc)) of the order of 10~9 Ω cm is obtained and it has been found that there is reduction in resistivity with increase in zinc content and sintering temperature. The high resistivity values observed in the present work confirm that the dielectric constant of the samples should be low.
