摘要

This paper presents fabrication of porous Al with deep pores. Unidirectional solidification under a magnetic field of 10 T achieved the uniformly aligned structure of the In rods (10-20 mu m in diameter) in the Al matrix for the Al-10 at percent In alloys. The micro X-ray computer tomography showed the continuous In rods in the matrix. The electrochemical etching successfully removed the In rods by using a 10 percent HNO_3 solution. Consequently, the porous Al with deep pores was fabricated.
