摘要

Ag3PO4-coated carbon microspheres (CMSs@Ag3PO4) core-shell composite photocatalyst with enhanced photocatalytic activity was first synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method. The photocatalytic performance of the as-prepared samples was evaluated by photodegradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) in aqueous solution under visible light irradiation. It was found that the CMSs@Ag3PO4 composite exhibited excellent photocatalytic performance with enhanced photocatalytic efficiency and good photostability compared with bare Ag3PO4. Furthermore, a possible mechanism for the photocatalytic oxidative degradation was also discussed. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
