摘要

In the present work, we investigated microstructure features and mechanical properties of AA6061 aluminum alloy fabricated by differential speed rolling (DSR) process. The alloy samples were subjected to a DSR deformation using a roll-speed-ratio of 1:4 at various thickness reductions. The results showed the DSR deformation leads to the evolution of an ultrafine grained structure containing a reasonable fraction of low angle grain boundaries. The evolution of this structure after 75% resulted in high hardness values uniformly distributed in the thickness direction of the sample. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
