摘要

Three-dimensional braided carbon fiber/epoxy resin composites are significant structural materials in the fields of astronauts and aeronautics. The effect of the process and test parameters on the mechanical properties was studied in this paper. Optical microscope and field emission gun scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to analyze the macro- and micro-fracture morphology. The fracture morphology of the three-dimensional braided carbon fiber/epoxy resin composites was varied under different loading rates. The results indicate that the mechanical properties can be significantly affected by the parameters of braiding.
