Adsteam Handle First LNG Ship in Medway for 20 Years

Early in July tugs of the Adsteam Medway fleet assisted the liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker Berge Arzew to a new purpose built terminal on the Isle of Grain owned by National Grid Transco. The delivery of this first commissioning cargo was safely completed and is one of the first such LNG shipments to arrive in the UK for many years. Berge Arzew is a vessel of 277m in length and 93,844 gross tonnes built in Korea in 2004.
