The french shipyard Chantiers Allais has developed a monohull design for use as a wind farm crew boat. Over the past 27 years the yard has built over 200 crew boats for its main client Bourbon for operations in West Africa, South East Asia and South America. Last year alone its boats are said to have transferred over 3 million personnel. From this experienced background the yard decided to develop their designs to meet the requirements of the offshore wind farm market.
