GE POWER FOR REVOLUTIONARY CARROUSEL TUG

Multraship and GE Transportation's marine diesel business have signed a purchase order for the supply of an additional two GE 12-cylin-der 7FDM diesel engines for a new Carrousel system tug being built for Multraship. This is the second new build Carrousel tug to be powered by GE medium speed engines. The project signing took place on the GE stand at the Rotterdam Maritime exhibition in Ahoy last year.
