From its headquarters in Rotterdam, Imtech Marine & Offshore reports it's having its fair share of the current booming shipbuilding market.The Imtech Marine division is made up by about 2000 employees, generates a turnover of around 400 million euros and is now represented in 60 countries. Recent acquisitions by Imtech N.V. of Radio Holland, Royal Dirkzwager (54%) and HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik in Germany have expanded its reach geographically and market-wise. Imtech Marine & Offshore serves four different market segments: 1. passenger vessels and yachts 2. merchant vessels 3. special vessels and offshore 4. naval vessels Within these markets, the company is a provider of energy solutions (powering), automation, navigation & communication equipment and HVAC systems.The company is involved in the project in all stages, starting with the engineering, continuing through project management, production and installation and finally service during operation. As a system integrator, Imtech Marine & Offshore is independent of electrical equipment suppliers and specifies the most appropriate equipment for each individual case.
