Trade Association Holland Marine Equipment (HME) represents the Dutch suppliers of maritime equipment and services and is, together with VNSI (Dutch Ship Building Association), part of 'Holland Shipbuilding'. HME stimulates the development of technical innovations, the clustering of know-how and strengthens the presence of the membership at foreign markets. The 230 member companies are active in the fields of maritime engineering & contracting, fabrication of installations and components, the supply of maritime services and ship repair One of the primary objectives of HME is to propagate Netherlands' reputation abroad. From that perspective Holland Marine Equipment will organise the Holland Pavilion at Posidonia 2008, where participants will show their maritime highlights to the Greek ship owners and decision makers of the European (and Global) shipbuilding industries.The Holland Pavilion is situated in Hall 4 and will be officially supported by the Dutch government. This year the Holland Pavilion not only consists of participants from inside The Netherlands, but also from overseas parts of the Kingdom. For the first time the Holland Pavilion has five participants from Curacao.AII participants present will show the strength of the Netherlands' maritime industry: innovation, product developments and know-how.They welcome a healthy discussion about new business opportunities and aim to renew existing relations.
