KARINA G.: DAMEN BERGUM DELIVERS 56TH COMBI FREIGHTER 3850

Damen shipyards recently delivered the dry cargo vessel MS Karina G. to her German owners Gerdes Bereederungs GmbH in Haren (Ems). The owner's fleet consists at present of 10 vessels in the range of 1.500 to 4.500 deadweight, which mainly sail in Western European waters. Damen has signed a building contract for a series of 4 identical vessels of the Damen type Combi Freighter 3850.The sister ships Christina G., Carolin G.and Birgit G.will be delivered to the owners in 2008 and 2009.
