As of April 6th, Ampelmann A-01 finished its job for Origin Energy in the Bass Strait (Australia). Still mounted on the Polar Bjorn, the Ampelmann is now crossing the Pacific on its way to the Caribbean where it expects to start a job in the begin-ning of June. Upon arrival in the Caribbean, the Ampelmann A-01 will finish its TRIP AROUND THE WORLD. The project for Origin Energy, a wellhead intervention job, has taken 4.5 months in total. During this period, 8000 transfers across the Ampelmann from the Polar Bjorn to the Yolla platform were made.
