On 26 April 2010, the CFL Penhar was handed over to her owners. Immediately after the ceremony, the ship left for Udevalla, Sweden to load her first cargo. 6.000 tons of steel were to be shipped to Baltimore in the United States. The young fleet of Canada Feeder Lines started with the delivery of the CFL Prospect in July 2007. Today, the fleet counts nine vessels, all of the Jumbo 6500 type from Peters. Three more vessels, of a larger type, are on order.rnWhile the first four vessels in the series have a 1B ice-class rating, the latest five are built to a 1A rating, which further lengthens their operational season in Northern climates. The market outlook seems prodigious for the years to come.
