Holland Shipyards installed pontoons for saluage project

The 166 metre RoRo vessel Vinca Gorthon sank during a storm in 1988 30 kilometres off the coast of Camperduin, the Netherlands. The vessel, which lies at 24.5 metres depth at a point where four ship routes intertwine, must be salvaged due to, amongst other reasons given by the Department of Waterways and Public Works, increasing ship movement on the North Sea.
