On 18 February 2011, Royal Wagenborg officially launched the m.v. 'Fraserborg' at the Ferus Smit GmbH shipyard in Leer, Germany. The christening and naming ceremony was performed by former managing director Jan Smit's wife Ineke Smit-Rutgers. The m.v. 'Fraserborg1, follows the 'Beatrix', 'Flevoborg' and 'Fivelborg' in a line of nine 1A ice classed, nozzle fitted, 14.600 ton vessels that are being built for Wagenborg at the German shipyard and the m.v. 'Fraserborg' is expected to be delivered at the end of this month. Technical details: length 154,60 m, width 17.20 m, hold 11.55 m, container capacity 475 TEU of which 191 on deck, main engine: 4500 kW Wartsila 9L32C.
