Imtech Marine's Impulse Energy Mixer

At the Energy Competence Center of Imtech Marine technology is being developed for the maritime industry. Their vision and their long-term goal is 'Zero Emission Ships'. In the past three years they have made a research study on 'Smart Grids on Ships'. In this R&D study focus was on hybrid diesel-electric and battery propulsion systems. As a spin-off of this R&D study they are developing an Energy Management System. The company calls this Energy Management System from Imtech Marine the 'Impulse Energy Mixer'.
