Huisman China yard completed with the strongest moving quayside crane in the world

Huisman China, a subsidiary of Huisman, founded in 2007 with 850 employees, has completed the installation of a 2,400 megaton Single Wheel Lift (SWL) quayside crane at their Zhangzhou fabrication yard. The crane, named The Skyhook crane, is located in the Xiamen Port which has direct deep-water access to the Taiwan Strait. This makes the location well suited for the loading and installations of heavy steel constructions on large vessels. The Skyhook is the strongest moving quayside crane in the world, designed and fabricated for the Zhangzhou yard and can operate by two main configurations.
