Acta Marine has acquired Offshore Wind Services B.V. and will rename the company Acta Marine Wind Services. Both companies are based in the Netherlands. With the addition of Offshore Wind Services, Acta Marine adds ten crew transfer vessels to its fleet of 40 workboats. Workships Contractors, which performed the daily management of the company, will continue the management. Govert Jan van Oord, managing director of Acta Marine, comments: "Offshore Wind Services has performed more than 400,000 safe crew transfers to and from offshore wind turbines since their start of business in 2006. With this track record and with their knowledgeable marine crews they are one of the most experienced companies in this industry."
