Ms 'Nieuw Amsterdam' proclaimed 'Ship of the year 2011'

Holland America Line's cruise ship, ms 'Nieuw Amsterdam', has been proclaimed 'Ship of the year 2011'. The ms 'Nieuw Amsterdam1 was listed amongst 151 cruise ships in total. The research, containing ships from all major cruise companies, was done amongst members of the international 'World Ocean & Cruise Liner Society' (WOCLS). Ms 'Nieuw Amsterdam' was launched last summer and was christened by HRH Princes Maxima.
