FALCK NUTEC DEN OEVER OPITO CERTIFIED

In addition to the certifications of the Inspection of Transport and Public Works' shipping division and NOGEPA, the Falck Nutec training centre in Den Oever has recently been OPITO certified for the 'Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training' (BOSIET) and the 'Further Offshore Emergency Training' (FOET). Despite the signed harmonisation between OPITO, NOGEPAand OLE operators outside the Dutch part of the North Sea do not always accept the NOGEPA courses. An OPITO and/or OLF certificate is still required. Therefore, Falck Nutec has made a number of investments to take the courses taking place in Den Oever to a higher level and to have them certified by OPITO. For course participants from the North of the Netherlands, the Falck Nutec training centre in Den Oever is "located much more conveniently. They no longer need to travel to the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam for an OPITO-certified course. Falck Nutec Den Oever currently offers NOGEPA, OPITO and STCW-approved courses. In addition, Company Emergency Response trainings are also offered.
