Innovative diesel-electrically driven TSHD by Royal IHC

DC Orisant, with its 5,450 cubic metres hopper, is Royal IHC's latest Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD). This innovative, diesel-electrically driven TSHD features full system redundancy as well as a class approved DP2 system, and can operate on a wide range of projects. Primarily configured to dredge marine aggregates for the construction industry, DC Orisant is also suitable for performing other projects, such as maintenance dredging and beach nourishment.
