The world's deepwater and ultra-deepwarer basins hold tremendous resource promise ro help meet global energy needs. DeepStar and its 80-plus member organizations have processes, procedures and most importantly a thousand-plus SMEs to help ensure that the most appropriate technologies are identified and then pursued and pulled through to commercialization. DeepStar successes are numerous and have had long-term impact due in large part to the operator lead and operator "pull" on project selection.
