摘要

The sea area of the Qiqu Archipelago shows accretion trends with the rate of 2.3cm/a within the last 100 years. However, different processes existed in various periods. This paper examines scouring/accretion processes based on sea charts and their causes, combined with hydrodynamics and sediment samples, as well as the river channel evolution of the Changjiang Estuary. The results suggest that the scouring/accretion processes for the entire sea area of the Qiqu Archipelago are controlled by the river channel evolution of the Changjiang Estuary. The Scouring along the strait channel area is related to hydrodynamics and sediments and their strait Channel effects.
