Al Samriya LNG goliath

Delivered earlier this year to Qatar Gas Operating Company by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, the 263,000 m~3 Al Samriya is one of the world's largest class of LNG carriers, the Q-Max series. Specifically built for Qatar Gas (Nakilat), the 345 m vessel will be used to ship LNG from Qatar to customers in Europe. The 345m Q-Max vessels offer 80% more capacity than conventional LNG carriers with about 40% lower energy requirements due to the economies of scale created by their size and the efficiency of the engines.
