Bollinger low bidder for NYC sludge ships

Bollinger shipyards, lock-rnport, La., is apparently the low bidder to construct three new sludge ships for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Details of the contract are still being finalized. The 140,000 ft3 ships, designed by Seaworthy Systems, Inc., Essex, Conn., which is part of the Rolls-Royce group, will be 290 ft × 70 ft × 18 ft.
