Eaton And Cochran Team Up To Reduce Cruise Ship Emissions

Eaton Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio, will collaborate with Cochran Marine, Seattle, Wash., to reduce cruise ship emissions worldwide. Under the joint agreement Eaton will be the exclusive manufacturer of Cochran's automated shore power systems. Additionally, Eaton will provide manufacturing, engineering services and turnkey project management capabilities. The companies will work together to convert Cochran's 60 Hertz (Hz) solutions to support the 50 Hz market. This will enable the team to install marine shore power at cruise ship terminals around the world.
