KVH ENHANCES ITS COMMUNICATION SERVICES

KVH, Middletown, R.I., has unveiled its new KVH CommBox Ship/Shore Network Manager. The Commbox, says Morten Aasen, managing director of KVH Norway AS, "is the most complete network management tool available for mariners, functioning as e-mail server, relay server, and web server in one rugged package." Developed by KVH Norway, the CommBox is fully configurable and is flexible enough to work with any selected communication service. Additionally, it offers multiple shipboard hardware options and gives customers their choice of software modules.
