The fat leonard affair is the scandal that keeps on giving. Last month, 49-year old U.S. Navy Captain Select, Michael Van-nak Khem Misiewcz, was sentenced to 78 months in prison (seven years plus). The sentence is the heaviest handed down thus far in relation to the scandal. Misiewicz was sentenced to one count of conspiracy and one count of bribery. Beyond the prison sentence, he'll also have to pay a $100,000 fine as well as forfeit $95,000 in proceeds from the scheme.
