Berg Propulsions' New Manoeuvring Unit

Norwegian design bureau Hareide Designmill has produced a new generation 'machinery' lever and panel for Berg Propulsion which controls manoeuvring and speed for supply ships, and provides important information to skippers and crew on the bridge and engine control room personnel. Berg Propulsion wanted to revolutionise its existing handle and control panel and give it a clear and unique identity. Through collaboration with Hareide Designmill the product has gained a stronger appearance and the 'visual mess' has been cleaned up. The product accommodates the user's expectations for display screens that give both graphical and numerical feedback of information.
