OSRO offers ship owners 'one-stop solution' on pollution control

Hong kong based, OSRO China Ltd, has brought together a consortium of oil spill response contractors throughout China's ports in answer to regulations passed on the Prevention and Control of Vessel-Induced Marine Environment Pollution as of 1 March 2010.rnThe Chinese Government's recent approval of the regulations would require ship owners to have contracts in place withrnlocal oil spill response organisations for their ships carrying hazardous substances or of greater than 10 000Gt - which currently do not exist.
