BP Marine and Castrol blend lubricant range

Castrol is to become the sole brand for the BP group's marine lubricant products following a decision to consolidate the brands into a single product and service portfolio. "The main change is simply the name under which products and services are supplied," Jonathan Hutchinson, Castrol Marine marketing director tells MER, pointing out that BP Marine acquired Castrol back in 2000. "We are merely phasing the BP Marine brand out for lubricants and concentrating our spend on the Castrol brand in B2B markets."
