While the captioned vessel was in stand by for entering port, the main engine oil mist high alarm was activated.This being the case, the crew inspected the sludge checker and the crankcase and found metal pieces.Due to the voyage schedule and the availability of the manufacturer's service engineers, a thorough investigation was conducted in the second port following this incident.
