Partnerships needed to ensure security of maritime networks

The capability and complexity of maritime VSAT satellite networks continues to improve. Thus, satellite and teleport operators, and end users, must be vigilant in securing their networks and the data that is transported, throughout the information lifecyde. Maintaining a secure network will require strong co-operation and communication among all parties involved, said Vinit Duggal, director and chief information security officer at Intelsat.
