MARIN sponsors solar boat race - the Frisian Solar Challenge

Interest in solar powered boats is increasing, largely thanks to the growing number of solar boat races organised all over the world.rnOne example is the 220 km Frisian Solar Challenge race, which will be held for the third time in 2010. The first two races were comfortably won by Delft University's entrant. MARIN sponsored this team in both races and helped with design support, hull-mould and propeller manufacture.
