Blommer, Petra and Cemoi form ethical, quality cocoa alliance

Chocolatiers Blommer, Petra Foods and Cemoi have signed a joint venture agreement to develop an ethical, premium-quality, cocoa-production alliance in the Cote d'lvoire. The new organization is called PACTS (Processors Alliance for Cocoa Traceability and Sustainability). The alliance was initiated by Cemoi of France and will bring together the three groups to improve the quality of locally grown cocoa, through the adoption of a sustainable development strategy, with the following key goals:rn1.
