摘要

On the occasion of this first issue of Management & Organizational History where I am listed as the editor, it would be an 'illusion' to repeat Kennedy's motto that 'the torch has passed to a new generation'. Mick Rowlinson, who for the past five years with great competence and passion has edited this journal is, in fact, younger than me!
